In a move aligned to the company's plans to become the South West's best facility for sport, sponsorship, entertainment and events. I have been impressed by Bristol Sport's ambitions and plans to attract more families and individuals to participate in sport in the South West, be it watching or competing. "I've already met some extremely passionate people and my role will be to work with them to unlock the potential, bringing together strategy and culture and I'm looking forward to the challenge." He will assume his new position on June 1st 2014. Hopefully he wont get so disillusioned by the backwards thinking Bristol authorities and a worryingly high percentage of its citizens that he throws in the towel and tries something else for a living. Oh sorry, I thought we were talking about Steve Coppell
By who I wonder because looking at 2 rubbish football teams, a rubbish rugby team, no speedway team, no athletics facilities or top athletes, no ice hockey etc etc etc its difficult to see why it's a seen as a major sporting city by anyone not wearing rose tinted spectacles. You could argue that Bath and Gloucester locally have more right to say this than Bristol does.

I would be interested in this section being examined. What does it mean? All part of one rationalised brand sharing a homogenised identity or highly seperate and individual sporting clubs?
