The new 42,000 seater Vodaphone Arena has been opened today, it's got screens in the back of the seats so you can watch replays. Mental. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
That's pretty smart. The atmosphere is very hostile there, hopefully the new shiny stadium won't take that away.
Pity the poor linesman who wrongly flags for offside a Besiktas goal and 40,000 can see it should have been given. And the fans are so close to the pitch.
they look like airline seats, do they come equipped with headsets too and masks so you can have a nap..?
Superb publicity stunt for Vodafone... Working as this thread proves. Whether or not they are of any practical use (what's shown on them will be controlled like the main screen we have) is irrelevant to the exposure the sponsors are getting now. Improvements to match days aren't all about going backwards...
Vodafone can expose themselves to me as much as they want...they can't even provide a phone signal in my house so no amount of ****e looking namby pamby plastic seats are going to effect my network decision
Just watching Besiktas v Buraspor. How much use they will get is debatable. Other than the press box and the directors' seats every single person is stood up, most of them jumping up and down and making a racket.Nothing like another stadium whose name is connected to telecommunications which I can think of.
If the proposed eviction of West Stand Upper is scrapped can the FLG please recommend this to the club?
