New Banner - Suggestions thread

Right first off I should warn you that this change may not happen for a good couple of weeks. It may happen soon but I can't guarantee anything.

I think its best to do this in two stages like last time. This thread will remain open for 7 days and members are invited to suggest possible banners to be used.

Banners must be (or at least close to) 1800px+ wide and then 325-275px high. Smaller ones will become pixelated when stretched but larger ones can be compressed down so they are ok.
1800px wide means that when at its full size its wider than will fit on the average laptop. It depends on your screen resolution but it should be bigger than the screen up to monitors of 22inches (guess)


Any suggestion is welcome and members are welcome to post more than one.

Next week I shall start up a vote to see which banner is the overall favourite, and once that is decided I will forward it to the admin and wait

I think we're best having something that will last a bit longer this time, it's going to be over halfway through the season by the time we get this one updated, and then in a few months time there'll be a load of new cars out, looking completely different because of the new regs. Maybe pictures of the drivers themselves, past and/or present.

I think that will be good, that's if you can get it to the right size, as i'm crap with that type of stuff!

 

That would never scale up.

If you did not want the current cars in the new banner then you could just have a corner or something.

They're still to small sorry Eternal.

When they're a banner they need to be 1800px wide and they are 800px. Thats to much enlarging plus it will mean the bottom of their faces will probably become cut off

I have to admit Masanaris bottom one is better.

In all seriousness I like Masanari's second one. The bottom one seems a bit sparse to me, but the second one has just the right amount of emphasis on the car and track. As well as the gorgeous sunset lighting.

 

I would suggest something, but Masanari's 2nd and 3rd one blow my mind
