First attempt at doing a poll - so apologies if this goes horribly wrong and you are able to read this. Below are 8 images, kindly submitted by SuperYann, Eastbourne Addick and Jimmy (thanks again guys!!), and we are now tasked with deciding which one we would like as our new banner. There are some great options to decide from - I had one in mind but when looking over them again I can't decide between 2. EDIT - SPLIT IN TO TWO MESSAGES. FIRST 5 HERE, OTHER 3 BELOW.
gone for 5....... you need a picture of the team Remember that the bottom half of the picture tends to get lost when posted on site so picture needs to have interest in the top half.

5 won't make a good banner. The text will be cut off. Would work a lot better if the text was moved to the top.

Hmmmmm - cheers blackcatSteve. Obviously as it is it won't work. I'll see if I can find a tech head at work to have a look for me.
if you have the PSD i could do something with it, or i could just try to copy it, i dont think you will get the logo above the text though, maybe in the center between the text.
Thats image 6.. I had a look at image 5 last night and was going to suggest that i can move the text to the top if needed
still out of kilter by a long way. I know this works as i done 5-6 banners last year and it was the most infuriating part, lining it up correctly, realised i could do this, and it was easier, but it is pretty much spot on for dimensions etc please log in to view this image this is is on your main forums, not in a thread with a poll over the top please log in to view this image PS: if it is too small though the forum will stretch it and it will look even worse, Its why i would do them at 1920 pixels, thats just about perfect.
Again, thanks for the help Steve. I must admit to not really understanding much about it, so is it just a matter of finding a bigger image?
The image is the right size, 1800x375, but the boards do not allow images of that size to be uploaded so it comes up smaller. That's why i said about emailing it before
I have done a thinner one, but cant upload it as its over the KB limit. Super if you give me an email addy to send them to i can send them over and you can see what you think needs doing
just upload them to imageshack and dont resize, then you can put them in img tags (or just select the forum link and copy paste it) on here and anyone that wants them can right click save image.
Not used imageshack before, have you got a link to the right site? Just had a look and there are a few that look like cheap rip offs and a us site
