Big well done to blackcatsteve. <applause>
    I love it.
Shame it's lost a bit of the old monument but that's just a tiny gripe.
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that for us exiled Mackems. The sight of Penshaw Monument only means one thing............... Home.

I live in Sunderland, but when I've been away on holidays etc, the site of Penshaw Monument coming into view always makes me feel that I'm home again...

The monument is still there but if you have a small screen like mine its cut off, still a class banner mind.
Change the screen to 75% and its all there

Its because i believe the banners are not set to 100%, its set to pixels, so if you have 1900 monitor you see it all, 1200 or 800 the left/right gets cut off, it doesnt resize it, it just cuts it off.

Hence why I try not to write too much text in the banners, or put anything important, like badges/players on the left/right hand side.

an example would be the text Sunderland

    1900 monitor would show Sunderland
    1200 would show underlan
    800 would show nderla

Cheers though, I am not used to having no negatives at all (they will all come out the woodwork now), I do like it, but there are certain things that are getting on my tits with it, but its the actual forum thats done it, rather than my original, so not a lot I can do about it. (and yes, i am probably being over critical as well).

The old one, there was just 2 niggly problems with it (mine may have more than 2 but...)

On 1900 width it was a bit blank on the left/right and the middle looked a bit squashed, i do know why you changed it, but for bigger monitors, it didnt look great (it wasnt horrible either)

With the white opaque foreground, you couldnt tell that the background was water, if you viewed the background by itself, it looked a lot better, as you could tell, on the forum, you couldnt.

If anyone else comes up with another one, and it gets changed again, fair do`s, congratulations to them, even if i do think its not as good as this one but i will try to be constructive in my critisism, not just mine was better.

In my defense, on the net its hard to tell, in the other thread you said the same thing but you had a :p a the end, so i didnt bite as i knew you were joking, in this one you didnt have the :p on the end, so i wasnt sure if you were or not.
