Think it looks amazing, evokes the simPle , clean lines of the home kit but offers a fresh design type. Would consider it if I didn't already have the new home strip.

People will doubtlessly slag it off. I love how contentious an issue it become with some fans. As if we have failed collectively as a club because our shirt has collars

Over the PA at carrow road, first game of the season
"sorry everyone, your all going to have to go home, we've decided not to compete because old man chompers who's half asleep in the city stand is pissed off because the players aren't playing in exact replicas of the asics shirts from 1993"

It's called evolution, and I love it.

Speaking of which, here's a thread on the subject from my favourite self anger therapy site, the pinkun forums

There was a thread on there last night where they were having a reminisce about the 1958 cup run, I'm not even kidding, they are all as old as time itself....

Not too partial myself, in fact most of our away kits are pretty ugly. I still have that Lotus green, black number with the Buck Rogers collar.... Good job we don t need to change much as we are the only yellow team...:bandit:

Watch it Beefy - I remember the 1958 cup run <grr>

I don't believe it dave. I wouldn't put you a day over 21!

But seriously there wasn't one or two saying about having clear and fond memories of it, it was literally dozens!

There so old they might even have a great grandparent that remembers, all be it vaguely, Ipswich having a good football tram

wasn't the cup run in '59??? <whistle>

as for the kit - absolutely love it

The cup run was 58-59. We were third division then and so entered in round 1. round 1 & 2 matches are played in the first half of the season (and so 58). Round 3 onwards are played in the second half of the season (and so were in 59).

On the subject of the kit, I really like it although I do prefer when our away kit is red. My all-time favourite is still the one from 2001.

Would have loved it if we had got the same design but in dark(ish) red instead of green. I think it would have looked superb
