Southampton Football Club have appointed Jesús Pérez, Miguel D'Agostino and Toni Jiménez to its First Team management staff: http://sfcne.ws/10LRxDG Anyone know anything about them?
Toni, the GK coach, was a Spain international. That's pretty much all I know, other than they all worked with him at Espanyol.
One of them has worked in Saudi Arabia so he must speak some English, I doubt they'd speak any Spanish there, or that he would learn Arabic for that matter...
On the OS they appear to have called him Jesús Pérez Pérez – First Team Assistant Manager - so good they named him twice??
Yes - there is a comprehensive list of staff on the OS, which had Adkins' guys removed as soon as he went. The vast majority of the staff are remaining. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/team/staff-profiles/
I was just about to put this on the Le Tiss thread but maybe here is more appropriate. Le Tiss is spouting information that can only be either wild speculation or information from the inside. Whatever side of the Belegend debate you are on, he certainly isn't a bullshitter which rules out the speculation. Le Tiss can't have too many close contacts left at the club so if I was Dodd, I'd make sure that information wasn't coming from me!
He's pretty well-connected I imagine, if you worked at the club and Le Tissier started chatting to you you would probably give him something wouldn't you? Off the record, like. Dodd seems enthusiastic about the "Southampton way" whenever he speaks about it so I doubt he would be feeding negative info to anyone. Or maybe he's just a good actor
Gutted that Dean Wilkins has left also. I was hoping he'd be able to stay on as he did when Pardew was sacked. No doubt he was a key figure in our progress over the last 3 years and a very popular with the players.
