Morning nots, I must say I love these late scores Which help to turn wins out of draws, There̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs no better way To round off the day They deserve our raptuous applause It̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs more than just never say die The belief and spirit̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs sky high, In those days of yore We so often saw A City who̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôd settle for a tie But not so in these PL days A win̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâôs all he has in his gaze, A positiveness Which really is fresh And he helps by making his plays To send three subs on as he did All at the same time was a bid, Which could have backfired But instead inspired The late show from `The Lansbury Kid` For Millwall it was payback time As on their patch they took the shine, Off our good display Late on in the day So, good we cut this one so fine. OTBC Never count this team out!
Must admit dave, this was left as late as it could be but the desire and belief was incredible again.
That's me RBF bor, smiling all over my face. With that amount of luck we could easily win this league
Whoa!! steady on NORKIE old boy, too early to start mentioning the `P` word, one game at a time eh? Some people say you make your own luck, though, so who knows.
You're right, RBF - we need at least another two points to be certain of staying up! One thing at a time! Mention the "P word" when we get to Easter if you must Norkie, but till then, shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
As an apparent 'newbie', i now see how you become a senior member. You spout total bollox for post after post, and 'Hey Presto' - senior membership! PS. Sorry to all those who earned theirs by being interesting.
Sorry Gandy I've tried to do an interesting thread for you. Had a go at doing an RBF poem, its rubbish compared to his but Im happy I managed to make it rhyme, even if the syllables are a little out at times. Its blooming harder than you'd think. Makes you more impresssed that RBF manages to churn out so many good and long ones.
Maybe i was being harsh, just struck me as ironic, that's all. Shouldn't be such a grumpy old fecker, it's been a good week, after all! Did see your poem, a valiant effort if I may say. Not quite RBF standard, but haven't seen any that are. Might try to construct one myself one of these days!
