Funniest thing ever. It could only happen to a Cov fan http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...an-Dan-in-phone-in-mix-up-over-scoreline.html
This is hilarious but what is everybody's stance on this? Personally, I can only recall leaving a game early once, and that was only because I had work early the next morning and my car was parked near St George's retail park. Didn't miss any of the goals in an otherwise dull 2-2 draw with Derby on a cold night during the Levein era.
I've never left a game early there are times where perhaps I should have for work and to avoid trouble but then I'm not a very responsible person. Depends on a persons reasoning for doing so as to whether it annoys me or not
I could never understand why people leave early. It's like going to the pictures and leaving before you find out whodunnit.
I agree. As I said, I only did it once. Felt dirty afterwards. Even if it is utter ****e, I am compelled to stay.
Only ever time I have left early was when we got smashed 3-1 by Bristol a few years back. We was losing 3-0 at the time and Matty Fryatt scored in injury time They was playing crap (I had the endure us getting hammered 5-1 by Forest a few days earlier) and I had a long day at work and couldnt take anymore so I left 5 mins early
Now that was a slump! Who'd thought we'd make the play-offs after that! But we did. Goes to show. Regarding leaving early, only time I did was when I went to see someone else play - Forest v Villa with a Forest supporting friend. A dire 0-0 match but Forest did score when we were outside the ground - only for it to be ruled out. It was amusing to watch the Forest fans faces outside the ground though - first they looked pissed off for leaving early and missing a goal, then they pissed off because it was ruled out! They went on to be relegated from he Premier League.
never left early, i pay for 90 minutes plus extra time, whats the point in leaving early to get somewhere else 5 minutes earlier.
