Believe he got through in the end last night. I caught the first set and the beginning of the second and to be honest he had that familiar "disinterested" look about him. Still he got through which is the main thing and good luck to him. The trouble is he cannot afford these "moody swings" against the best and ultimately that will be probably prove his downfall once again unfortunately. The top three know how to consistently keep focussed when it comes to the crunch which as a layman myself is where I think he falls down. I said before that he needs to get someone with a winning mentality on his side and the offer from John McEnroe I think would have been good for him and his frail mental state.
He is annoying at times. He seems to want to engage in a game of volleying to the extent that he misses opportunities to put the opponent away. To be fair, the bloke he was playing last night was having one of those periods where for the first hour everything he hit went in. After that Murray hammered him and made him look worse than his world number 56 ranking would suggest.
Totally agree ER. "Muzza" as the "ENGLUSH" like to call him often loses focus. He can win Wimbers if it all comes together at the right time, unfortunately he's up against 3 of the GOAT's
