Well after reflecting on that game today,I can honestly say I have never seen such a gap between our two sides.

It clearly was a stroll in the park for our boys.

The game was one way traffic from start to finish.

Their goalkeeper had a blinder as it quite easily could have been 6 plus goals.

Heaton never had to make one save of significance I do believe .

The team looks good, pitman and stead looked good, the new boys look good.

Del boy has got them ready,we wont be no pushovers this season.

Can wait for the first game up at Forest,we are ready to rumble.

Rovers apart from their keeper look a mid table side, unless MM is given funds.

And my score prediction 3-0 was spot on do I get any points wizzzz

dont mean to sound negative, but they are a mid table league 2 team, we looked good because we are (not being biased) a hell of a lot better than them, and we cant judge our players to much on beating bristol rovers 3-0, it was good to get one over on them but it would be the same as beating accrington stanley 3-0, we can judge the lads on tuesdays game against southampton, a half decent side

Shiny the last two pre seasons ago we Would have been turned over by a mid table div 4 side.
Not this year,I really think del has turned the corner and a couple more quality signings arriving.

The poor rovers fans new they were being brushed aside on the pitch,it reflected on how quite the 1500 became.

i agree, we used to get turned over by league 2 teams, but there league 2 for a reason, there ****, were championship for a reason, we're half decent, we should be beating league 2 teams with ease, as i say, i'll judge the boys on the southampton game, a team that came 2nd in OUR division,

Harrold could and possible should have scored 2 yesterday against us, going forward isn't the problem, it's the defence still. Think the gas could be play off contenders this year imo.

Agree with Shiny completely, can't really get carried away by beating a league 2 side. It was a promising performance, Woolford looked a lot better but as said previously it was against a league 2 side.

100% agree with RTB you can only beat what is put in front of you.

My take is this pré season we look different,we look like we can beat teams,we look like we want it.

The nice think is we are winning pré season games that last two years we did not.

I am happy how it is going,I think Del boy has done a great job pré season so far so good.

Not getting excited but for the past 4-5 years we have been turned over by teams in the basement or league below us in the league cup. Preseason has also been woefull, but yesterday's preformance have showed that we have improved.

Yes we won't win the league, or probably not even get close to playoffs but equally I don't think we will be near the relegation places. This is a vast improvement, we attacked with pace and moved the ball around well.

Good to see that Skuse was the one player that apart from Heaton played the whole game <ok>

'Never has the gap been so wide' - Perhaps so, but we should be saying thanks to the 1400 Blue fans for supporting a City player.

And don't anyone think yesterday will mean anything at all come Forest.
Did our strikers score / look like scoring ?
Their keeper will have nightmares for 2 of the goals and the keepers/players in the Championship are on a completely different level.
Saw nothing, absolutely nothing that gives me hope for next season UNLESS we get a CH, a creative CM and a Striker.

Piman hit the crossbar, Stead produced a save, just 2 I can think off

7 goals out of 9 from midfield in preseason when they could not score last season.

4 goals conceded in 4 games, 2 clean sheets in the past 2

3 wins out of the last 4

Oh wait, your going to say they are against **** opposition. You only play the team in front of you.

No I don't expect us to win or get close to playoffs, but we won't be in the same position as last year.

i agree with redprintt, we do need a CB, creative Midfielder and a striker, but without that i still feel we will be just fine in the league, but i would rather we get those 3 players needed and have a crack at getting in the top 10
