Recently however he looks like he's running in treacle.

 

Given he's now defo off, do you think that Moyes should leave him out the side in order to give one of the younger lads more game time?

Serie A is played at a less helter skelter pace than the prem though, should suit him nicely.

 

They definitely should in the league. Top 4 is finished so they should use the remainder of this year to build a solid foundation for next year. I'd still play Vidic in the C.L but then that may be only 1 game.

 

Also, should he remain captain?

 

If i was Moyes, i would plan for next season by starting Smalling and Jones in defence.

Good yes, but not a title material partnership IMO which is what Man Utd should be aiming for

 

I'd have said Evans and Smalling, I don't rate Jones at CB. But you see more of them than me.

I'd really like to see them get a run of games together and form a partnership, which I believe could be very, very good

 

I agree, Evans has improved dramatically over the last couple of years & I'm a big fan of Jones. I don't understand why he's not on your team sheet every week tbh.

I'd go for Rooney and Mata they'll be a good centre back partnership, try it against us and see how it goes.

 

I'd just have no defence. Thats the Moyes way!
