    News on official site is that Michael Nelson has signed a 2 and a half year deal with Scunthorpe.

    Thoughts people?

    I have swearing on, so I don't see it any more - still, I thought it would have been corrected.

    Are we now a bit short of centre-backs? I only count 3 in Ward, Barnett and Whitbread - unless Tierney, Drury or Russell Martin can double up.

    <laugh> it's a continuing issue, apparently S****horpe city council have been getting half their emails sent back as 'offensive' automatically for years.

    haha brilliant, shame to see Nelson go as wont forget his goal last year and was popular in the dressing room by the sound of it. Not suprised though as hes getting no younger and behind at least 3 other CBs in the pecking order. Plus as Holt said on his twitter he just wants first team action. Do seem to be letting quite a few players go though, hopefully the squad wont be too depleted

    Hi bors, regarding spelling S****horpe, Geofrey Chaucer used that four letter word in his Canterbury Tales. Just shows how progressive thinkers have influenced the English language, to me a spade is a spade, to them it is an earth removing implement.

    Re the Admiral, sorry to see a dedicated professional leave us, did his best for the club and what more can you ask of any player. Just hope he doesn't score when we meet the Irons at Carrow Road later in the season.

    Sad to see him go too, I think he may be missed, apparently he was a great lad to have around the dressing room. I´m sure he´ll do a good job for them.:sad:

    This transfer surprised me. Gutted to see him go, but I wonder how much we got... inflated prices of the Jan transfer window and all that.
