Personally I am appalled at the way this scurrilous set of articles seek to undermine the best Leeds manager we have had ever. OK its true he set himself the target of promotion and finished mid table OK its true we sold most of the players the crowd actually used to come to watch OK its true we swapped Becchio for Morison and - although clearly a successful move, vindicated by the fact that Becchio did not do brilliantly at Norwich, and that a top club like Millwall have snapped our hands off to get Morison back - some malcontents have criticised him for it OK its true the team did seem to hoof it from defence to attack, but lets be fair if you had recruited the midfielders NW recruited, what would you do? OK its true NW had a home base in Cornwall, but on the plus side that was very handy for the preseason games OK its true crowds have plummeted Set against all that, and in my opinion completely overriding these minor issues, there is the undisputable fact that none of this was in any way the fault, or even responsibility , of NW.
