Neil Warnock's future at #MASSIVE Leeds United in question. #LUFC #QPR Neil Warnock's future as Leeds United manager has been cast into doubt by a dispute over expensive loan signings from the Premier League. Warnock, who has been working without signing a contract for the current season, is pushing his club to use the Championship's emergency loan system for new recruits in central midfield and attack. Currently seventh in England's second tier, Leeds have been hit by injuries to vice-captain David Norris, Ireland international Paul Green, and the experienced Michael Brown. Warnock wants to cover for them by taking Jermaine Jenas or Shaun Derry, a pair of Premier League midfielders stuck on the periphery at their current clubs. http://sulia.com/soccer/f/803b3841-9d85-4c13-9ff7-477b4068ef85/
Warnock should take notice of this Leeds fan http://www.not606.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=3461977
I'm surprised he's not walked already with the amount of **** he's been served by Bates. £4m has been put into the club by the party who are still negotiating to try buy the club. None of it went into transfers, instead paying off some dodgy debt Bates had acquired over the pointless building projects he's been bolting to our stadium left, right and centre. The club has actually profited by £200k this summer in terms of transfer balance, so Warnock has had to sell to buy. Our two classiest players, Clayton and Snodgrass, were sold to finance that profit. Warnock's brought in bread and butter players, but has insistently told Bates and the fans that he still needs three or four 'marquee signings' to make a promotion-worthy team. In his own opinion, we don't have a 'cat's chance in hell' of getting promoted. Bates told a concerned fan that Warnock can't have any more signings since 'he's had 10 already'. Bates refuses to sign the proposed deal to sell the club because he wants to cream another £15m from the buyers a couple of years down the line and possible force the sale of Ross McCormack for one last bonus. It's a ****ing disgrace, Drogba style.
Its backs to the wall stuff for Leeds! No wonder they're struggling http://www.irishcentral.com/news/-S...es-his-campaign-for-presidency-117998434.html
Not meaning to be rude but does anyone on here really give a f*** ?? I mean the only thing massive about Leeds these days are their egos
Sounds like a right mess. QPR related, ex boss + journo reckons he wants Derry. though that has to be bullshit as not many managers would be stupid enough to name someone in their 25 nd then loan them out!
Sorry if that came over as a dig at your OP, North. Definately wasn't meant that way mate, apologies if it did.
It didn't , no problem mate ================================= Warnock to Birmingham, you heard it first......................maybe!
I personally wish him the best. He was the only person who could get us out of the Championship at that time and he did it with style, giving us a lot of pride. He is a bit of a git but we all knew that whilst he was at QPR and would have defended him for it.
I wouldn't say he did it with style (some of our football was awful) but he did it. Pretty much him and him alone. Yes he's a *****r but who cares? He did brilliantly with us and I still believe he shouldn't have been sacked but that's old news.
Disagree mate. Still think he would've kept us up especially with the funds that were given to Hughes in January. He always was, still is and forever will be a *****R however!
I disagree. Yes, sometimes we won ugly. But sometimes we played like Brazil in the Championship with him. He may well have been able to keep us up, just. But I don't think he is a Premier League manager. He doesn't have the contacts or know-how and he lost it a bit. I have no idea what he was thinking when he treated some players the way he did last season, especially Taarabt. I think Mark Hughes has more potential to bring more success. I mean, he's actually a proven PL manager. NW is not.
awjm, you make some good points but COLIN treated Taarabt like a prince from the moment he arrived. Can you think of any other Manager who would've put up with his behaviour? In fact, I'm amazed his patience held as long as it did.
