I'm afraid to say under Neil Warnock we are going to see nothing but mid table rubbish. The current team with all Neils signing are just not good enough, all of them are journey men looking to continue getting a pay check.

    Lets look at all of Neils signings;

    Paddy Kenny - 34
    Jamie Ashdown - 32
    Lee Peltier - 26
    Adam Drury - 34
    Jason Pearce - 25
    Stephn Warnock - 31
    Paul Green - 29
    Rodolph Austin - 27
    David Norris - 31
    Michael Tonge - 29
    Luke Varney - 30
    Ryan Hall - 25
    Steve Morison - 29

Now what worries me about all of these players above is the age...

Neil has spent time getting rid of Graysons players and bringing his own in but look what we will have when Neil decides to pack in! A bunch of over paid old ages pensioners!

We will in turn be left in a much worse position than when Warnock joined us, Neil can't say he hasn't been backed because he has managed to bring in all the above players.

I really do fear for the future :emoticon-0107-sweat

Goalkeepers come into their prime in their 30s. Plus both Kenny and Ashdown are infinitely better than anything we've had since Robinson and Martyn.

Peltier, Pearce, Austin and Hall are all a decent age. As is Habibou, who I see you've left off <ok>

Tonge, Green and Morison are in the prime of their careers and proven championship quality.

Which leaves Varney, Norris, Warnock and Drury. Only Drury is REALLY old, and even then he looked okay when he played to be fair.

Now if you were complaining about the quality of the players, I'd be more inclined to agree. But the ages aren't really that bad. We could sign a team of players under 23, like Peterborough. Oh wait, look where they are in the league...

Players brought in at not much cost in aggregate is not quite what I would describe as "being backed."

We haven't signed Habibou he is on loan and watch this space, we won't be signing him <ok>

Although I would prefer players of a younger age bracket I agree it is the quality I am more concerned with and yes, average at best.

Agree, I would like a young squad, but I would take a proven, quality, experienced player (and that doesn't necessarily mean old) over an inexperienced but exciting youngster any day.

Well thats where our opinions differ then because I'd much rather have a young exciting prospect who will gain experience. Just like Byram who only really made his first mistake on Saturday.

If we had 11 Sam Byrams on the pitch on Saturday the future would look pretty amazing

For every Byram there's 5 White's. Who just don't quite cut it. A mix between youth and experience is always the perfect combination, but all the successful teams have plenty of experienced players <ok>

Nice attempt at a WU - Every Leeds fan is asking the same question, while we all have a slightly differing opinion we all share the same conclusion... We will be back, it just isn't our time at the moment

Enjoy being on the fringe while it lasts <ok>

As White's biggest critic, I have to go on record as saying that he's been a different, consistent player these last 2 games. I honestly believe he may benefit from a run as LB. I have to be honest, he looked a lot better than he's done in the past. Interestingly, I heard Eddie Gray on the radio agreeing with my view that he'll never, ever be a left winger. His view was that White doesn't have the capability to play with his back to the opposition - he's got to see the game before him. As someone who's played (brilliantly) in both positions, you have to sit up & take notice of what he says.

The only way we will have good young players is if they come through the academy. Gfh are skint so only players we will be signing will be loans or 29 year olds plus. Good young players cost money which we won't have until gfhbates sell up and we might get an owner with some financial clout

I agree with you on that, but the irony is that he's come back into the side at a time when a new left back has come to the club and probably replace him anyway eventually.

Why he never used him instead of playing Peltier though I will never know. As the last couple of games have shown - Peltier is much better at centre half. The back four was very solid yesterday and, Byram mistake apart, the Swansea wannabes very rarely troubled us going forward.

There was a Leeds fan who called 606 tonight and I'm sure he said Warnock has only won 15 games in charge at Leeds? And of course we've lost last 6 away. Think it was 40% win rate.
