I first heard the rumour a few hours back but didn't pay too much attention to it as you see that sort of stuff quite often on the social media. However it has gathered pace over the last hour or so, plus Adam Leventhal from Sky Sports News has recently tweeted this: Sounds like Neil Warnock is out of #QPR. Unconfirmed by club. Reports of statement at 730. Speculation Mark Hughes in as replacement. Harsh to say the least, but I'm not surprised. Sky Sports News have reported it now. Asked about his sacking, Warnock replied: 'Sheff Utd, Carlos Tevez and Adel Taarabt are to blame.' http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2570265,00.html Warnock sacking confirmed.
Not suprised and a little unfair. He took over and they were prime relegtion fodder, got them promoted under the crazy interference of Bernie and Flavio. Some very tough refin decessions have gone against his team aswell! Shame really and the loss of a decent charachter from the list of YES men in the prem!
Personally I think it's a disgrace... WHAT does their Chaiman expect miricles? I actually like Neil Warnock, as Smither's say's. He aint worried about what others think. Tells it how it is. Q.P.Rs loss and someone will have a good manager cos he won't be out of work for long. We need guys like him, especially in the Premier Legue.
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...tml?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Neil Warnock left QPR last night after a bust-up with owner Tony *Fernandes over signing Blackburn striker Yakubu. Rangers are confident of installing Mark Hughes as manager in the next 48 hours. The first job for the ex-Manchester City manager will be to rescue Rangers from relegation danger. Warnockâs departure came just 24 hours after QPR narrowly avoided an FA Cup upset at MK Dons â but they have managed just two points from their last eight Premier League games. Mirror Sport revealed last Wednesday that Warnock was back under pressure after their home defeat to Norwich, despite leading them into the Premier League just six months earlier. The underlying problem centres around Fernandes not being convinced that Warnock could save QPR â and they also clashed over transfer targets. Warnock wanted to make a bid for Blackburn striker Yakubu but Fernandes and the QPR hierarchy wanted bigger names. Fernandes said: âThis *decision has been made in the best interests of the club and I can assure everyone that this is not a decision that was made lightly. âSadly, our recent run of poor form has seen us slip alarmingly down the table and the Board felt it was the right time to make a change. Neil has acted with honesty, professionalism and integrity throughout his time at the club, and I would personally like to thank him for his significant contribution to QPR in the last 22 months.â Warnock, who took charge at the club in March 2010, added: âObviously Iâm very disappointed, but having achieved so much, I leave the club with a great sense of pride. âI have enjoyed my time here more than anywhere else and the QPR fans have been brilliant with me â they deserve success. âMy biggest regret is that the takeover didnât happen earlier, because that would have given me the opportunity to bring in the targets Iâd pinpointed all last summer and probably given us a better chance to succeed in the Premier League.â QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin will miss the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
used to like warnock , but after comments after stoke match pleased to see the back of him. can't stand hughes either , but , correct me if i'm wrong , neither can 99% of stoke fans and Tony (formerley known as god) pulis . I must admit i wished we'd bought all the players QPR bought in the summer , but look at their "team" now . just goes to show that you still need a decent manager to get the players to perform together . Glad we've got tony ? ? ?
