What a turnaround! Hopefully the contract has been reworded to make it a bit clearer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14161511.stm
Just goes to show that there's so much behind the scenes nonsense these days with agents. Best wait until something is officially confirmed by the Swans website. The EP is sure in this case though. It looked as if he didn't want to stay but now he is? I can't keep up!
totally agree with cas fan - make the contract simple so a player can understand it eg you will get a tenner a week, if a club wants to talk to you about a transfer they must offer 1100 quid to do so but we can refuse that offer if we do not think its suitable, not rocket science i didn't think
Quotes from Neil Taylor: "There has been so much written and said about me that was untrue it really hurt at times" "The reason I haven't said anything until now is because I had an agreement with the club that nobody would speak to the media until an agreement on a new contract had been reached" "This is the football club where I want to be and the decision to sign a new contract was quite an easy one to make." I must admit I was one of those calling for him to go , or rot on the bench after reading all the 'news articles' about this fiasco. I will now only go by what Buck and Neil have actually quoted , and that's good enough for me. I will resume my support and backing for Neil Taylor to be re-instated as a "Jack Bar Steward".....
If they papers have really made up all those stories then Taylor should sue them. Someone needs to put a stop to this nonsense reporting. 90% of football reporting just seems to be completely made up.
It just shows how much **** the press make up! Fair play to the lad though i hope he does well and now i'll definitely check up on how he's doing. Good luck for the season lads...not all the English are stupid ignorant ****s thinking you shouldn't be playing in the Premier League!
