Everton are allegedly showing interest in Neil Taylor as no bid has been made by Newcastle. Seeing as the source appears to be his agent, I'll take this report with a large pinch of salt. Link below http://www.eatsleepsport.com/swansea-city/trio-battle-it-out-for-defender-1229550.html
Well if Baines is an Arsenal target i can see that he would prefer Everton and i wouldn't be surprised if he went,I wasn't amused when he refused to answer any of Brendan's calls before Kilimanjaro which was kinda telling me he fancies a move.
Jamie Moralee. Rubbish footballer, clearly also one of a rubbish agent or a rubbish human being. The second part will be decided when we know if there was any truth behind these things he´s been spouting in the press.
He's meant to be quite an arroagant chap and considering he has only has one season in the championship I'm quite surprised he wants to make a "bigger" move this quickly.
That's what pissed me off too sa14jack , more importantly though , it's what made Buck a bit chocked too.
I don't know much about Jamie Moralee, or even Neil Taylor for that matter... We see how he plays football, and there's no doubting he is good. I just wonder if Taylor is an easily influenced character who "may never get another chance", or it's his "shot at the big time". The world of football transfers and the driving forces behind them are very interesting.
Further reporting in the north east now claiming Newcastle hoping to tie up his signature by the end of the week, and that Everton are not interested. If this is true, seems his agent is trying stir the pot for more cash,I hope I'm wrong but doesn't Ash have the same agent? Standby for more rumours started by this grabbing **** Link below http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/united_close_in_on_defensive_target_1_3505297
Yeah, Ash is represented by the same agency, NewEra Global Sports. They represent others including Rio Ferdinand, Jermaine Jenas, Geroge Elokobi, Daniel Gabbidon...
football agents are just like work agencies, parasites living off the backs of other's, but most football player's are thick as s$$t so they need somebody else to big them up.
I don't have a big problem with Football Agents like most people. I understand that they do cost a fortune and all that stuff, but in fairness most professional footballers probably wouldn't be able to organise their own contract situations, and 99% wouldn't get the best possible deal available for themselves. There's also the fact that if agents didn't exist, and players weren't focussed on games because they've been constantly sorting out their own contracts, sponsorship deals etc... We'd all be unhappy about that. Anyway, that's another debate I guess.
everyone goes on about the extreme amount of money footballer's make these days(which is crippling most clubs), agents are a big cause of that.
Not got a problem with agents, they just work to give a player choices and the best rates possible, in the end it's the player who makes his choice and has to live with it. An agent telling Taylor he would be better off elsewhere is still reliant on the guy believing it.
I'm not saying agents are innocent, but they aren't the cause of high wages. That stems from clubs, owners and competition. If clubs wants to compete with others and achieve certain things then they'll try and do what a bigger club is doing i.e. paying higher wages. I blame the clubs who put the wages on the table, not the agents who pedal the deal through for the player. On that note though, i'm not really that bothered about what footballers get paid anyway... It's an awful lot of money coming into the country as tax and funding a lot of things such as the NHS etc...
Well I don't agree I think the agents are the ones that are causing transfer fees and wages to go through the roof. Greedy parasites in my eyes who are out to line their own pockets first and foremost taking money out of the game whilst giving their clients options that are quite often not the best for their careers. Why can't the players all be represented by someone from their own organisation (think ex Swan Nick Cusack is involved these days), in that way they could be given useful advice and also any fee paid or profit made could go into helping retired players whose careers are maybe cut short by injury or who have fallen on hard times.
i think buck should tell tailor that he is not wanted now by us, i dont know what all the fuss is over this upstart i really dont, i have seen loads better last season and make less mistakes. i just cant see him being a premiership player in any shape or form at the moment as he is far to green and he is still in the walking mode and not the running mode to make it in the top league....he has had a few good games when the whole team was playing good and that dont make him great,......let him go and see where he ends up if he thinks he is that good as he will have one huge shock when he is found wanting and ends up playing third team football. the boy has a hell of a lot to learn yet and is no way good enough for the premiership....let the upstart go and make his own bed if he thinks he can do better.........he will be sorry that i have no doubt about...
I'm with you on that one 99 , If he's this disrespectful towards Buck this early , one can only imagine down the road what he's like , I don't care how good he is or isn't .
