    There was a day when he was useful, but that was when he was still at Liverpool, since leaving there he has just gone downhill and put on weight, not that I can talk though<laugh>

    Played well last season despite the boy Ferguson putting him on the transfer list - he has been linked with us for a couple of seasons now and maybe he might just fit in. Bit more direct than Deeney with similar strength - I know a lot of Sheffield Wed fans like him - not a Danny Graham but he does score goals - I think he got 20 last season on loan with Sheffield Wed. Wages might be a problem as I understand he is on about 10k per week

    Didn't really perform at this level so would be a risk and those wages wouldn't be what we can afford.

    Err my head screams NO WAY, but I know we are shopping in League 1. I honestly don't want him, but if he pitches up we will need to support him.

    There have been worse though - Kerry Dixon right at the end of his career ......

    This would not be a move in the wright direction. He was dire when Preston played us. Darius would have been my choice to come back but now it has to be La Fondre from the merry millers.
