We have all seen the pic of Neil Lennon at the game yesterday and now he is being linked with the job. It could be simply the media putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 though http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4925142/Foxes-eye-Lenny.html
Touche, hes not going to be able to emulate this season, especially in the champions league no matter who they buy, but no doubt he could goto a prem club, if Di Canio can get a job in the prem, Lennon should be a shoe in for one!
The Scotsman also running with the 'rumour' ... http://www.scotsman.com/sport/footb...l-neil-lennon-leicester-gary-hooper-1-2926980
Mourinho ... ... don't necessarily disagree with you by the way, MON is a bit of a worrier and a deep thinker, so such thoughts will go through his head I'm sure - Mourinho, on the other hand ... just believes in his own ability to succeed ... indeed, ed might just want to have a dna test done LOL
Just back NP and let him build. Look at our squad. Its young and improving and its clear we are moving in the right direction. The whole thing is pointless. We have a top manager, we lost him in similar circumstances last time. Let him PLEASE complete the job this time.
...and we will win the league with the form we had the 17 games before that!! Pearson has got the foundations, a little tweaking here and their with the right players and we will be up there again. The first priority is to get KS to sign a bigger deal.
So you are not the least concerned that Nigel couldn't 'manage' us out of that disastrous run? ... I know I am. Conceivably we could be up against the likes of Redknapp, Martinez (Di Canio), Adkins, Poyet, Zola, (Hollowhead) and Freedman next season ... right now I don't feel confident that Nigel can outwit that bunch ...
You are missing the point, perhaps deliberately. The failure to halt the malaise is the real concern - along with the the marginalisation of certain players - to some, just a conspiracy by the 'anti-Pearson brigade', to others, evidenced by the treatment of Mills, Bamba, Peltier, Danns, Beckford and possibly, Wood, Wellens and Waghorn?
I'll be more concerned when he starts falling out with his own players. There is no substancial evidence that Wood has fallen out with him just because hes subbing a striker off form.
That's the bit that has me worried. With the exception of James, most of the young players Pearson signed have either stagnated or actually got worse as the season has progressed. NP's tactics are increasingly going the same way. We've all but abandoned the progressive, passing football we had such success with in the first half of the season and replaced it with terrible, direct hoofball for the most part. For the first time I feel genuinely unsure that NP is the man for the job.
