    Whats that all about?
1 year of management where he has shown himself to be little more than an undignified loser, then he switches national sides?
I though he was from the north?, or is there a suspicious political link that will no doubt be lauded by the idiot-elements of the celtic support?
The chances are ZERO - so why would he even suggest such a controversial idea?

He'd need to buy a suit for that job and learn the basic responsibilities that go with football management first

he was asked if one day he would fancy the Ireland job, he siad yeah.

If the interviewer asked him if he fancied the scotland or england job he would have said the same thing. souness is a pundit on Irish tv. what do you reckon he would say if he was asked if he fancied the job? capello is italian and doesnt seem to have a problem managing england - is there some suspicious political link?

keep trying to make something out of nothing...

    Imagine his interview.

"So what can you bring to the Republic of Ireland team"
    "Thunder!"
    "What?"
    "I'll bring the thunder back!"
"Isn't that just a buzz word that means nothing, if you don't win any trophies?"
"Ahhhh....well....we got more fans to the games and we played good.."
"Yes, yes, yes Mr Lennon, but what did you win with Celtic?"
    "I'll get my coat..."
    "Yes, please do"
"Is this because I am Ginger?

The Rangers fans are twisted mate. Just mention Neil Lennon and they fly into a fit. Mention Neil Lennon and Ireland in the same sentence and their rage overtakes them.

The Rangers morans on these sites are the people that breed the evil monsters that think they have a right to physically attack Neil Lennon.
Neil Lennon before 2000 was a popular player with Leicester City and Internationally with the North of Ireland.
In 2000 he did a terrible thing, he actually followed his previous manager and joined Celtic. Immediately the cheers he always heard at N of I
Home games changed to jeers. The manager of the N of I promoted Neil to captain for a friendly and all hell broke out amongst the N of I/Rangers
fans and death threats were issued. Neil was advised to not play and to go away.
The threats and bullets and bombs started again this year after Celtic beat Rangers and after a prolonged period of mindless hoods posting evil hateful messages
targeted at Neil and his good name.
I wonder how these posters can sleep at night.

So let me get this right the Rangers "morans" on this site are the parents of evil monsters that attack Lennon?

By a small section of fans. the majority were in full support of him, remaining after the N.I vs Cyprus game that he didn't play in to sing "There's Only One Neil Lennon"

The thing that turned most of the fans against him was when he spoke about playing for a United Ireland team. It would be the same as the Scotland captain explaining how he was looking forward to playing for a United Kingdom team after the Scottish national team is ditched.

More so a loyalist paramilitary group, that did in no way represented N.I or Rangers fans for that matter.

His good name? <laugh> The reason most people dislike him is his neddish behaviour, his victim mentality and previous accounts of his language and behaviour towards Rangers. That doesn't justify the grief he got but after I saw him sticking his hands up to his ears, I simply thought, oh well, it seems like he wallows in this drama.

Do you deliberately posts lies or is there any chance you are so stupid that you don't realise how wrong you are.
The reason a small group of fans sang there is only one Neil Lennon was in response to the vast majority of the crowd, massive 10,000 approximately!!!!!??? had spent the whole game spouting the evil hatred that is well known in IBROX.
To nutters like you who took offence against an All Ireland team Neil was in good company some of the best players who ever played for the North of Ireland including D. Doogan G Best and Pat Jennings were but a few that expressed the same opinion. Your idea of an All Ireland team compares to United Kingdom is absolutely totally nonsense as usual. Most if not all team sports play under an All Ireland team, rugby hockey, gaa, cricket, boxing has all Ireland competitions but I suppose all these sports and many more are out of step. One loyalist grouping issuing a public threat said Neil had insulted his nephew at Ibrox so that is one direct link and I am sure Pedro you and I know there are many more. His good name, remember Neil was a popular international and club player before he joined Rangers. His reputation was first class. Morans like you Pedro probably feels that because he spat on a discarded Rangers scarf that he found lying on the ground was justification for what your friends were doing.
You talk about sticking his hands up to his ears and indicate that he was wallowing in the drama. This worries me because I thought your friends realised despite what you post and despite their threats Neil does not intend to leave.
Your efforts only make him more popular.

about 50 to 100 people in the Kop, and a sprinkling of others

And parkhead, lets not pretend its all nicey nicey over there.

    Why?

The same could be said about the United Kingdom, would you be in favour for ditching the English, Scottish and Welsh national teams for a British team.

A fella phoned up the Daily Mirror and said this. I don't remember any statement being released.

He was mediocre midfielder and a bit of a growler, wouldn't go as far to say he was a "popular international." By the way he joined Celtic you MORAN.<laugh>

MORANS like me? <laugh> And you're guessing how I feel. Can you also tell me what my friends have supposedly done?

Again my friends!?! Would you not say he was stoking the fire. He could quite easily have done what Walter, Kenny and Ally done, march straight down the tunnel.

It seemed to me that Lennon, at his place of work at football match, had had enough of the filth and abuse during that particluar game from Rangers fans and just decided to wind them up [no filth or abuse back, just cupped ears]. Well, that and the year long hate campaign against him by certain individuals. And someone had the cheek to complain about Lennon cupping his ears! Talk about mock offended.
