Why on Earth would a big English club want an ugly ginger **** from a ****ty little Scottish outfit?

If he wants to manage in England, he should start in non-league and try to work his way up.

Oi Stopme =- I was trying to work out the implications of Scottish indepednence on GB sports teams. Bar a few cyclists, rowers and a tennis player, the main team I could think of was the British and Irish lions - I don't think they'll be affected do you?

I had actually <doh> I have to confess it's the one sport that leaves me totally and utterly bewildered. Have any of the Scots on here actually played it?

I will go to the grave happy if the scotch win the curling cup for Britain.

Not too bothered about the British Lions, England is the only Northern Hemisphere team that can match the Southern Hemisphere sides.

Funny enough I'm starting to get into it and it's the one sport in the whole games were you're not likely to get a serious injury or death so in answer to your question they probably have played it!

<laugh> That whole Olympics is completely bloody nuts - even the figure skating couples look as though they could decapitate each other at any give time. I just don't get the curling even though i donlt mind watching it -I sit there thinking "that looked quite a decent shot" and they're all going "oh he won't be very happy with that"
