Bristol City midfielder Neil Kilkenny feels that the club can bounce straight back and secure Championship promotion, but is concerned about a lack of firepower at Ashton Gate. The Robins were relegated to League One last season, ending a six-year stay in the Championship. The introduction of Sean O'Driscoll as manager at the club in January produced a glimmer of hope for the side who then embarked on a promising run of five wins and two draws in 10 games, but City finished bottom of the league despite the former Nottingham Forest manager's best efforts.Kilkenny, who signed for the club in 2011, has expressed concerns over the club's firepower in front of goal however. Just four goals in six pre-season friendlies have done little to alleviate the worries, but he feels that patience could be key for O'Driscoll's men.He told Sky Sports News Radio: "We've kept hold of some good players at the club, and we've worked hard in pre-season."The manager is obviously still trying to get his philosophy across to the players, but of course promotion back to the Championship is a realistic possibility."Jon Stead will be a bit of a miss and the style that we played last year suited him. In pre-season we've not scored that many goals, but that will come. We have to be patient and stick with it."Hopefully this season we'll try and play a bit more football. (Sean) O'Driscoll likes to pass the ball a bit more as opposed to the more direct style, but it's about consistency."The strength of the squad will be important, but I think we'll be right up there."Listen to Kilkenny's thoughts and predictions on the coming season for Bristol City in the full interview on Sky Sports News Radio.Listen to Sky Sports News Radio online at*skysports.com/radio*or via the Sky Sports appsLeague 1 Promotion 13/14 Promotion: Bristol City 10/3

Sorry I don't have enough faith in the Aussie Whinger to listen to anything he has to say and for him to moan about goal scorers or the lack of, 1 stat. 55 games 1 goal that is Kilkennys record at the Gate if we have to rely on him to chip in with goals it could be a long barren season.

If he signs up to SOD's philosophy how is he going to cope, as I presume it will include passing the ball forward to one of your own players, not sideways and backwards to defenders and goalkeeper, and tackling back when having lost the ball.
I won't even mention competing for headers.

    I won't be listening thanks.

The nasty Aussie is utterly useless and makes up for his own shortcomings by bollic*** 10 others.
What really concerns me is that SOD thinks he can play.

I'll be fair and give him a couple of games before I start shouting for him to be dropped and shipped out.
Never know he might surprise us??????? Yeah!

Nice words Neill but a little bit of effort from you last season would have been better accepted and I think it's time for you to move on. Message to Neill - prove us all wrong in our estimation and all could be forgiven.
