ON-LOAN goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will turn down the chance to represent the Philippines at an international tournament later this month to try to help Bristol Rovers move away from the wrong end of the League Two table. Etheridge, who has been capped 38 times and is the first-choice goalkeeper for the country of his mother's birth, was expected to feature at the ASEAN Football Championships, scheduled to take place in Thailand and Malaysia between November 24 and December 22. Well done Etheridge and thanks shame some of the other players don't show same dedication.
We're not though. He's about the only man between us and some major thrashings. Thanks Neil - please inject some of your dedication and application into the rest of your sorry team mates, Eaves and maybe Clarkson excepted.
he was going to stay and miss the internationals but he is now leaving us for the bradford and wycombe games.
