Anyone feel like I do that Neil Danns would be a good buy for us to supplement our defence. Would also like Darren ambrose but not sure he would leave Palace. Nicky Maynard I would like. Who from Man City will be available and would come South. And as a complete left field thought Chamak from Arsenal, would he be better playing regularly? Basson and or Onuha(?) And lastly what about Wayne Bridge.
Chamakh would be good, but would only come to us if we kept Adel. Plus not sure Arsenal would sell anyway. Although they are both quality, think we should be looking at better than Danns and Ambrose. Bassong and/or Onuha seem likely and would be great additions. Wayne Bridge? No thanks.
Leicester only got him recently and they don't need to sell so would cost a few bob. Wayne Bridge- absolutely not. Chamakh- perhaps on loan. Certainly wouldn't risk buying him. Maynard- Would be a good buy but expensive. We could do a lot worse.
ambrose no thanks he's had his chance but stayed loyal to palace. would take bassong & onhua & like to see maynard.
Maynard culd be a bargain as his contract expires at the end of the season, and BC may need the cash, plus Maynard may want to prove he can play higher. Bassong & Onhua def, poss Ridgewell, plus Anelka & Defeo on loan till end of season. I know I am greedy but the futures bright now TF is in charge of the purse strings
Agree Peter but if it was 10m Lira be worth a punt. Almost want Christmas to be over so we see who we get. No one but me seems to like Bridge. Ridgewell is a good shout, like that one.
