Great appointment in my opinion. Agree or disagree with that doesn't matter - time to get behind him and support him and the team!

Neil Critchley's blue and white army!

NEIL Critchley has been appointed as QPR’s new head coach, agreeing a three-and-a-half-year deal at Loftus Road.

Critchley was most recently at Aston Villa as assistant head coach, which followed a successful two-year spell as manager of Blackpool.

During his time with the Tangerines, Critchley won promotion to the Championship in 2020/21 and successfully achieved safety in the second tier last term.

There have been some good foundations put down

Thank goodness he wasn't put off by today's performance

Apparently his favoured formation is 4-4-2 double 6 ie two defensive midfielders.

    If we win who cares?

Experienced in winning promotion to Championship - could come in handy if we keep playing like we did today....

I thought for a happy second there that it was Colin on the way back after all. I know nothing about Critchley other than what's on the Official, but wish him all the best. He looks like he needs it after today.

He gave them a full season, didn't walk away from them half way through....so he's got a bit more integrity than Judas

One of my lads mates is a Tangerine. They really rated him as a manager and now feel very similar to the way we feel about M. Beale (the song, by the way, is ‘**** Mickey Beale, **** Mickey Beale’ in a kind of endless dirge) about him. Villa must have paid him a shedload to become a number two, briefly.

    Fingers crossed.

If he can get us to score a goal this side of August I’d be happy.
