...with Paul McVeigh and Hucks as the front runners to replace Neil Adams in the Roy Waller commentary box, who would be your choice and why?

My choice would be me, because Norfolk state needs American commentary...
"And its R. Martin with the ball in the de-fense, he finds midfield linesman Hoolahan who is now on the offense, he carries ten yards, twenty yards, Holt receives inside the 18....TOUCHDOWN!"

I'm not sure. Mcveigh can be difficult to understand sometimes especially if he is talking quickly. Hucks can talk out of turn sometimes and could possibly say something to alienate Radio Norfolk from the club. (He'll probably be saying what the rest of us are thinking, but sometimes it should stay as a thought!).

They often have Greg Downs on Norfolk matchdays, but he has been out of the game for a long time and is also not the most charismatic.

Flecky would be brilliant, but has the same issue re accent as Mcveigh (although Scottish not Irish, Obviously). Stephen Fry would be great. lol
 
I'd prefer Darren Eadie. He used to be on a T.V. programme with Kevin Piper ( Over the bar ? ) and comes across well having been involved in much media work since injury ended his playing career early.

I think he's been on that regional programme featuring the silky/wooden skills of Matt Holland as well, more recently.....that's a point, Matt Holland could take it on <yikes>

Eadie for me, with McVeigh a close second.

He's probably been drinking White Horse - the cheap stuff will do that to a person! <laugh>

definately think eadie has the style to be a success, and from listening to his guest appearances with neil and chris, would be fairly unbiased and relistic as to what is actually happening on the pitch.
