In these early stages, first 10 games say, it is important to take points off of teams likely to be in the mix at the end of the season Cardiff are the first of 4 in the next 10 games, home or away if we just manage to draw them, it will reap dividends at the end (Blackburn H Leeds H and Leics a ) Away wins play a big part in a season start so 3 points against Barnsley A Peterboro A Watford A and throw in a home win against Milwall ( these teams still need to settle and can go off on a run [hit a purple patch] ) ! that is potentially 19 points from 10games best ever start since getting back but likely to be nearer to 15-16 points on the board (before the we just need keep on winning throw in their pennoth ), yes we do, but remember if CARDIFF ,BB,LEEDs and Leics were to all beat us we would need to get a win and a draw from somewhere else just to over take them and hope they lose 2 games!!!! Fixtures are random things, thats why in 2010/11 when most were forcasting doom and gloom after Christmas, I was totally prepared just to pick up 3-4pts from 8 games as the next 8-12 were better and teams around us played each other, and I stated CATEGORICALLY we would not be relegated. Looking at this seasons fixtures list it is the the most evenly spaced FOR US "playing good or likely poor teams" since we returned to the Champs, so we lose one the next is easier, we win one the next is harder the mind is not fixed on negativity of say having to play....Cardiff H Blackburn H Leeds H and Leics a in a row and losing all, so getting in a rut and losing some lesser games due to despndecy Able to absorb more info and time to study the league my original BCFC to finish in bottom 8 has already put them into top 12 and I am beginning to THINK WE COULD JUST BE TOP 4 - 6 CONTENDERS...but still early days
agree we are on the verge of something big happening,play like we did Tuesday we will win more than loose.
