Joe by name Joey by nature. Farmer twat producing not only turnips but ******s as well." cyrpussydsafc is right we do need our own mod so can I suggest we all start voting for one? I would be happy to do it and wouldn't think twice about banning the above poster but I can understand some might not want me to do it, how about a vote on who you would like to mod for us - bear in mind they might not want the job but no harm in suggesting it to them. Suggestions please?
Cool with me. I give him lots of abuse back but probably be better to keep ignoring him. Its gotta be frustrating for the prick to know he's able to get some abuse back and none of us can see what he says back. If thats all we need to do to get him banned then I vote for you.

I read the response by the other guy regarding moderation. Thanks for the votes but no thanks from me. It is simple folks just put on the ignore button. I have not once looked at his posts since the ignore was in place. I will not look and therefore I will not respond. I have mentioned him several times to other posters in response to something they have said but not anymore. Therefore I will not read his offerings, will not respond to anything and will not mention after this. If everyone can bring themselves to do the same then he will have no input to anything, will get bored eventually and go on his own. If he is modded or banned then he will come back again and again as before. It is simply not worth the bother to take him off here ourselves. Joe in particular, you and I have called each other names in the past but I would not dream of putting anything like he has to you. I have not read it but can guess the content from the responses. He did the same regarding my mother on 606 and I left it there for everyone to see how low he can go. Hard as it is please just don't read anything he puts on here. I can promise you that nobody else has anything other than sympathy for your situation and good wishes that things work out for your family. Knowing that let it be enough.
A mod must be a supporter of the club because he or she is there to represent the fans, ensure the board is run the way the fans want it so he or she needs to understand the club and its fans. Its not the mods role to decide who to delete, ban or moderate because of their personal views but to act with the views of the fans in mind, in practice usually the same thing. Its not a power trip for people who want a title and its not a police job, its certainly not a 24 hour a day job or a BBC strict rules job. The mod does need to be a fan of this site and spend time on it, you can share it out by having two mods who look after things between them but whoever it is needs to have a mature attitude, be open and fair minded and not be easily offended. So what does the mod do? Use his/her judgment to delete threads or comments that take banter into abuse. Act as link between the fans and the forums admin. Welcome new members, usually with a welcome thread. Sticks threads at the head of the forum that will be of benefit to members. Try to calm things down if they get heated. Reccomend users to be banned from this board or the forum in general. Help with the sites development along with the other mods. So, you don’t have to have one but its reccomended you do. First step is to decide yes or no, second nominate who you want, third see if who you want is willing to do it. Over to you, its your board so you decide.
Sensible, thanks, i have not read all of it but i see it on other posts, i agree i have called your all sorts but never as low as this plank, i remember what he said about your mother, he as never had a mother or a son it suggests (not of his own). Its up to him what he writes i can't stop that but he has no idea of the matter or how he has, Yes i know most on here have sent good wishes to me and my family which is great, he did once but i took that with a pinch of salt. For his information my son is now 15 weeks and not a spastic, he had heart failure and organ failure due to this. brain damage also, But as the experts tell us he is young and has been able to do things they said he may not already. No body knows how it will pan out, he is still developing, no matter what problems he has we will be there for him. Thanks sensible and every one else. We all know what steely and his muppett do.
I can't begin to know how you and your family cope with your situation Joe. I had a brother who died when he was 13 from a brain tumor and visited Great Ormond St Hospital as a young child when we could visit him there. The Ward was full of children some younger than I was and it is something that has always stuck with me for all my years. That was back in the 50's and medical science has come on a thousand years since then. There is always hope and little ones have more strength than we could ever know and I am sure you and yours will do everything you can for your boy. Good luck with it all and I hope you keep us posted as things improve for him and you from time to time. (doesn't mean I won't call you a pratt at some point though)
Thanks Sensible, it is very difficult to cope as we seem to be in and out of Hospital at the moment. He is improving slightly and hope fully the more input we put in will help him to develop. Sorry to hear your brother passed away so young, yes its not nice being in an Intensive care unit with all young children, Southampton Hospital have been great for us all. Hope fully the Medical science will keep improving, its very difficult to find time to do much at present, i have not worked for 10 weeks and got back this week, can't seem to get any motivation, but it will come, we are luck its are own company or it could have been more stress full. I will keep you posted, by al-means call me a prat, i deserve to be called more than that at times. I see our friend has been banned on both names, hope fully that will be the end of him now they block his ip address, but i some how think he will return. No matter how my boy is,i will be taking him to Home Park next season once he is a bit more stable. Thanks for the kind support. Hope all is well with you and your family.
As a browser rather than a regular contributor to not606, I just find STB's (and aliases) posts pointless and it is why STB, TSB, Steely is Back and MasseyFerguson have all been added to my ignore list and I have not been in the least bit tempted to read his comments (my only other blacklisted member is ManFeeling who can't resist giving STB the time of day on our board despite not even being an Argyle fan). My real point is that someone must be modding our board. STB and TSB were banned some time ago and I now see that Steeling is back and MasseyFerguson have gone the same way today. I'd be happy for Reid_all_about_it to mod this board. I've got no problem with banter - after the last two seasons it would be difficult to be otherwise but pr!cks like TSB should just be banned at the earliest opportunities. This guy is seriously unstable.

Well done, i have got him on ignore and also sent a message to the mods and see if they can put a stop to his ip address, We don't know if he is a guy? greens, its unexplainable what breed he is, but still a prick.
Forget the ignore button, that's a complete and utter distraction, as is the issue or whether this is a PAFC matter alone. These sad & utter ignoranouses need to be taken on head on and if so called moderators on Not506 don't have the balls to play a proper role in the face of such obvious vile abuse, then they doesn't deserve our membership, which I have to say was exactly what I feared from this weakly moderated forum. Shame on you cyrpussydsafc (supermod) for your craven surrender from the role you should be fulfilling. You can see what's being posted, so either do what you ought to to do as a responsible citizen or pretend to be a moderator no longer. You are no better than them. All the ignore button does is to allow the those who incapable of saying anything worthwhile to waste everyone's time. They are completey and utterly despicable and I only wish their family members were aware of what they have been posting. They deserve them to find out what they are. I do wonder what their mothers, wives or daughters would say about men -which clearly isn't the right word - who make obnoxious remarks about sick children. Hardly the stuff heros are made of is it? Well I would vote for Reid-all-about-it or Plymborn, as they are usually on here daily. The ignore button is helpful but with all the spamming he does actually banning some of his guises is a better, more long term, idea.
I might be wrong in assuming that cyprussydsafc by the quantity of posts he has done is probably overseeing more than a few sight as a super moderator. If that is so then, it seems rather obvious to me (with only basic computer skills) that it is impossible for cyprus to oversee all these sights with the time at his disposal. I am assuming the poor chap has a life beyond his computer that he actually does enjoy things that are not football related,that he has other hobbies and pastimes. How can he fully understand how a green feels,being reminded that your the biggest city thats never been in the top division (thanks Hull for doing that to us),there is a lot of frustration that can spill out at times when after years of upward progress it comes crashing down around your ears with a double relegation and administration as well. So notDistantGreen you must realize by now that I don't agree with your comments on our supermod. It surely is best that we look after our own patch, correct our own problems ,put our own house in order, so that we can as adults enjoy and be proud that this sight represents Plymouth Argyle supporters and not be embarrassed what visitors think of us. My view is that we should have our own moderator,who I feel should be Plymouth or nearby based, Who is a regular Home Park man or women and therefore in touch, has first hand experience of whats going on daily with Plymouth football. They should feel able to write their own profile so others can read it and not hide behind anonymity,so gaining respect amongst the community that they in a way are overseeing ( I nearly said policing but thats to strong a statement). At present I have zapped five odious lowlife, I have no interest in what bile is spewing from their mouths,what you don't know at times can allow you to be in a peaceful place,naive I know, but better for you. The old saying.........sticks and stones can break your bones but words will never harm you.............is total utter rubbish, words can hurt and cause far greater grief in your life and bring you into depression and last for years. We all at times say things we regret and you can never take it back, the damage is done and can fester on although that person says their alright, they are not really although they think they are. At present we've all said scathing things about how PAFC has been run recently,I for one have got quite heated at times over whats been happening, sarcasm is my main weapon,light hearted at times taking the mick out of things,sometimes maybe I shouldn't have said it. I have to my best knowledge never used swear words to express my disgust on any written page,I feel that if you can't express yourself without bad language then you've failed yourself, maybe I'm showing my age,would the person reading what you have written appreciate your flowery way with the english language, they might even put you on their ignore list and your comments would reach one less person.
One of the things about being a Mod, is I presume (Never Assume!!) is that you would know the IP address of the person to be banned!! If you know the IP address then you CAN if you wish, track down the name and address of the user!! Just a thought
