What get's me is PDC's comment about players being unfit.
Bramble aside I didn't think there were fitness issues at SAFC.
Could it be old (MON) training vs a new, sports science led approach by PDC?

I think MoN didn't focus so much on fitness as the players did not press the opposition, but now PDC encourages a pressing game and in the first half particularly vs Chelsea we were very high up the pitch, so the players were a lot more tired than they usually would be. This will improve over the next week or so and the players will be better adapted to play the new way

The players seem on PdC's side, which is good. The overall impact he has made seems to be positive.
