What get's me is PDC's comment about players being unfit. Bramble aside I didn't think there were fitness issues at SAFC. Could it be old (MON) training vs a new, sports science led approach by PDC?
I think MoN didn't focus so much on fitness as the players did not press the opposition, but now PDC encourages a pressing game and in the first half particularly vs Chelsea we were very high up the pitch, so the players were a lot more tired than they usually would be. This will improve over the next week or so and the players will be better adapted to play the new way
