A good piece of business if we can pull it off! http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=267364
redknapp is obviousley keen to offload unless they wouldnt be having there follow up phone call! If were to show ambition in staying up this is the sort of signing we must make...
Sounds pretty good... “Yeah, obviously because of what happened and the way he has played,” said Lambert. “Hopefully it will be tied up. I spoke to Harry briefly the other night and I will probably speak to Harry again really soon. He is only a young lad learning he game and getting better every game. Kyle I thought was excellent. “As I said yesterday, we aren’t going to have millions and millions of pounds to spend on players. With the wages and everything else. The lads need help. No doubt, but that is easier said than done. People might say there is money there. We’ll wait and see.”
The way he adapted and excelled in playing out wide on the left today was top class! If Spurs are prepared to let him leave it's crucial that we get him on a perm - other prem clubs will be aware of how good he is, so let's do it DM and PL
This would be excellent. I thought Naunton was superb today deffo the man of the match. I hadn't realised he could play equally as well at left back as well as right back.
Agreed, he was great! Was a bit worried that he only used his right foot and surprised the fulham defence didn't realise this when he kept changing feet to cross.
If he tells harry that he doesn't see his future at spurs we could get him on the cheap as his contract only has 6 months left, could be a brilliant piece of business if he chooses to come to the club as i'm sure others would be interested.
You're right there billy. This type of signing could influence the type of othe transfers we make. He's a top prospect and to fight off other clubs would send out a big sign that we are well and truly on the up!
I don't think we would be the only ones interested. PL has mentioned about prospective signings turning us down because they can get more elsewhere.
please please get him. an outstanding prospect for the future and i'm certain he will get england recognition too
Would be great to get him, and I wonder if Lambo going public indicates that he's already had a positive chat with Naughton.
I reckon if Spurs sell Corluka, we won't sell him - we'll keep him as backup to Walker. But, if Charlie decides he wouldn't mind staying as a bit-part player, I imagine we'll sell him to the highest bidder. I was at Carrow Road yesterday, and I must admit he really looks like a great talent at both fullback positions.
Thing is, he's here till then end of the season (unless he's sold to another club, of course), and if it's right his contracts up in the summer, I reckon Spurs will look to sell. Having played a year of Premier league football, I can't see him wanting to play second fiddle.
if he has made clear that first team football is high on his agenda then spurs will sell, especially as his contract runs down soon. even with only 6 months left, i'd suggest he is still worth some serious wonga and any bid of around £2m would be fine with me!
.........PL is very closed mouthed about transfer targets so for him to make this statement gives the impression that a deal has been done.
