Marvellous, simply marvellous. The greatest drink known to ma..............erm, I mean personkind of all genders, however many of them there are these days. Well, it's frightfully difficult keeping abreast (sorry, that's probably misogynistic that expression, no offence intended) of things these days. What a glorious country Great Britain is. Cheers. I'm having a lovely cup of tea presently. please log in to view this image
Tea-related joke time: Met an athlete in a tea shop, I thought I recognised him. I said "Are you a pole-vaulter ?" He turned to me and said...."Nine, I'm German....But how did you know my name was Walter?"
And what was the answer, surely he can't just of guessed his name was Walter? Maybe his name was on the cup he was drinking the tea out of, like they do in Starbucks?
Tea shops do not mark the cup with the name of the customer, only coffee shop customers and very young children need their name writing on things.
Just ordered some English Breakfast Tea (loose leaf), some Darjeeling, and some Japanese Sencha, from Fortnum & Masons.
I do enjoy a loose leaf tea. Not often enough because am lazy and go for convenience. I am a mirror to society.
It should actually. Every native of these islands ought tonknow how to make a proper cuppa, in a tea pot. Which you warm first, of course. And, after adding one teaspoon per person and one for the pot, you allow to brew for 5 minutes.
