    The EU ****e.

Bring back national service. Grow some balls ya spineless ****ers, instead of expecting others to di it for you.

It's not for everybody is it? If everybody joined the military we'd be desperately short in other trades. National Service won't happen in this country, there's too many from Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya... Living here... Join the queue bomb your grandads house.

I joined, it was ****ing ****. Full of soft lads acting hard behind rank slides. Got wind that I was gonna get done in out in Basrah by a WO and a Staffy so me and my best pal hammered the pair of them on a night out and left them in a ****ing messy heap.

Put my papers in to leave the next day.

Glad I joined though, met some top boys and most importantly some discipline and confidence, I used to be a moody recluse.

Not everybody. You're not getting my point.

Soft ****s, who think they can hide behind their rank. Like its some sort of shield.

I had enough encounters with that sort of lad in the forces.

There are obviously a lot of top boys also, who I had a lot of respect for, but that sort of thing forced me to leave, authority is a massive no-no with me.

I'd never have been promoted mate, made too many enemies who were officers.

Don't forget my experience was nowt like yours, I was Intel and the trade was awash with two faced geeks.

    Anyway back to the OP.

It'd be a good thing if it could be done properly, and fairly.

I think a lot of youth unemployment issues could be solved with even just a short career in the forces.

If we can't afford to keep present soldiers in their jobs how could the country possibly afford to bring that back? There's just no budget or need.

I get how it would teach some of the young lads and lasses a thing or two but it would be a bloody expensive lesson.
