Full lockdown to be announced at 8pm

About time, but far too late

What will you do with your lockdown? There's an opportunity in everything.

Does that mean anythings gonna change from tier 4? Oh well we'll find out tonight at 8pm when the grand ****tard coughs and splutters his way through his PR horseshit.

Last job finished before Xmas so busy applying for other **** right now, so that'll take the first 2 hours of each day, leaving time for my hour long midday run outside, before filling in the afternoon and evening with the usual mix of booze, drugs, **** TV, **** films, and other **** stuff.

I will be working as normal. From home. 48 hours a week. While most of my colleagues are either on furlough at 80% pay or the others working part time.

    The joys!

We need a full lockdown. A proper one. Then the numbers come down while we all get vaccinated.

Then in a month or two time we go back to normal, accept that it’s here forever. Build specialist covid units to cope with the poorly and all be sensible.

I'm self-employed and will be out there working as I have since day one of this. No work=no pay as I am one of the "excluded".

Pleased I live in Istanbul. Sounds horrible. We just have curfews after 9pm- 5am weekdays and all weekend. But you can still go shopping though. Just no cafes, bars, restaurant are open at all, just for delivery and no public transport during those times either. Seems to be working,... And there are 18million people here.
UK government are ****ing useless IMO, and I ****ing voted for them too.<laugh>

    Lockdown and do it properly.

Not allowed to leave the house for any reason other than essential work, exercise or health. If you can work from home you should be.

Criminal prosecutions for those that break the rules. Endagering public health and should receive criminal records for doing so. Army on the streets with powers of arrest.

Vaccinations - done at test centres.

The people ignoring the rules are the issue. Prosecute these ****s severely.

This. Although businesses are now getting around it by claiming they are essential AND claiming for staff that are on furlough.

There should be a list of essential and if your business is not JUST doing that essential element it has to shut. Proper lock down. None of this half arsed ****.

Im saying it with a bit of jealousy mind as I have not had any extra days off since this started and my workload has gone up 20% so it’s ****ing hard to take working 48 hour weeks when all your mates and family are off getting athletic bodies at 80% pay.

Heres another point. Where is the motivation to stick to the rules when the covidiots know they will keep getting weeks/months off at full pay (it’s 80% but it’s been proven that with travel, parking and food costs on average most people are actually better off).

Unless they are told. Stay at home and if your out and you have no reason you get fined. Oh wait that’s there but it’s loose because most things are classed as “essential”.
