    Here's the chance to get some culture into the forum, other than beer and pies. <laugh>

    Our brothers from across the ditch have a cracking Anthem.

    This is probably my favourite Anthem. Sole stirringly beautiful.

    Not exactly my favourite but I do like the National Anthem of Italy. It is bouncy and a lot of fun. This rendering is like the opening of Act 1 of an opera, with the full cast of characters performing. Very Italian:

    My top three are the Welsh , French and Italian -notable that they are all sung with gusto by their respective people

    La Marseillaise is my favourite too. Real sword-drawing stuff, down with the aristocrats and off with their heads! Very inspiring. <grr>

    I'm a bit hot and cold on the Oz anthem. It isn't too bad I suppose, but I'd rather stand and rock along to another version. <laugh> The first clip is as it is, the second is as it should be. I don't think too many agree with me though. :)

    I'm with Billy Connolly, who reckons that GB should adopt the Archers theme tune as their National Anthem.

    I'm happy to write the lyrics <laugh>
