Reported on BBC he has tweeted that the 9/11 attacks were not carried out by terrorists.
His response to being taken to task was to say if you dont like it dont read it.
Personally as someone who knew several people murdered in these attacks I am disgusted by yet another ignorant footballer spouting off about something he probably does not understand or even cares about. He clearly has no knowledge of the word fact.
Jog on you stupid little boy.
    Rant over.

The kid is clearly an idiot with an over-inflated ego.
Most players like this never fulfil their potential.

Just incredibly naive, H. I too think in some misguided way he was trying to get himself across as being intelligent.

That said, I think it's an insult against the murdereds memory when people suggest it was an inside job.

He is the forgotten man trying to drum up some cheap publicity. But it backfired.

John Hartson made me laugh when he wrote in The Sun last week, "It is a low blow to kick someone when they are down", whilst referring to the Man City e-mail scandal.

Do you mean Eyal Bekovic, John?

He's entitle to his opinion. He's not insulting those who died. I don't see the problem.

Yep,it's a free country and we're all entitled to our opinion, even when it's ignorant and ill-informed. Tells you something about young Nathan I think.

Not going to get into the whole 9/11 debate but something isn't right about it.

Anyway, as Ryan says, he can voice his opinion.

I'm with Eccleston and 'What's up Doc' on it to be honest. I don't believe its an insult at all to anybody me believing that, its just an opinion I've formed over the evidence which has been provided, and there's no 'facts' in relation to 9/11, in much the same way as there's no 'facts' in any form of life - its a term thrown around without any real understanding of what it means.

There are some things that are better left alone WWOCB...!!

Whatever your theory is of what went on that fateful day, we must not forget that thousands of innocent men, women and children perished whilst going about their normal every day lives. The why’s and what for’s of that day are for me completely unimportant.

He is a footballer so why not concentrate on things that that concern him directly, like… er…. how about football maybe.

He is currently rotting in Liverpool’s reserves after all. Maybe if he got his head down and concentrated on his football a little more rather than mucking about on Twitter he could potentially improve his own professional situation.

At the end of the day… I really couldn’t give a monkeys what he has to say to be honest.

well it obviously was not an inside job. You would need thousands upon thousands of people keeping this a big secret and quite frankly that's impossible.

At work it is impossible to keep a secret amongst 8 people, let alone thousands.

Agree with you Nick. The trouble is there are so many conspiracy theorists out there. I recently heard one about the attack on the Pentagon in 911 which said that there was only a neat little round hole punched into the building to make it look like a plane had hit. This has arisen because there were very few photos of the actual devastation that was caused by that impact. This rubbish gets tweeted, emailed and facebooked around and suddenly becomes fact. It is not surprising that in current where a generation appear to rely on these media for news that it suddenly becomes"fact" to them.

It is the downside of instant communication that the modern day deadly disease is viral ignorance.

Just think some of those guys out there could read our ramblings and treat them as fact not opinion -now that is scary.

Do we Think people (especially the Americans) like hearing their family members were killed by their own government in some inside job?

    Nope.

Anyone that believes or starts a post that the 9/11 attacks were not terrosrist orchastrtated is a dumb, bagwearing bellend. Quite why that idiot Ecclestone has to throw his single GCSE into the ring I will never know.

To have a conspiracy of that nature would involve at least two thousand people keeping a secret. Some of them would undoubtedly be women. The record for a single woman keeping a secret is 5 weeks two day.
