Samir Nasri has completed his move from Arsenal to Manchester City for a reported £25m - and said he was delighted to be joining a club with "more passionate" fans. Nasri, 24, said: "Arsenal have good fans but not that passionate since they moved from Highbury. "City fans are really passionate. When we played against City, the crowd was amazing. That's what I want." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14654077.stm A little out of order wouldn't you say?
Bit disrespectful to the Arsenal fans though Rick. Can't imagine him getting a good reception at the Emirates this season now!
Who wants to be booed on your lap of honour at the end of the season? Arsenal fans are fiercely critical but not a lot else. City fans are lame though with their "unique" celebration that they knicked from Poznan.
I think the way Nasri has treated your club in this transfer saga has been nothing short of disrespectful so i don't think he will be missed.
I worshiped Nasri over the last few years....but his disrespectful comments and clear mercenary stance on his transfer will ensure that he will always be booed by Arsenal fans. A true **** - and a sad representative of the greedy modern footballer
He's a right cunt to be honest. I was at the Liverpool game (executive box) and the Arsenal fans cheered and applauded him whenever he came to take a corner.
A nasty spoilt character (we also have one called Modric) . Very rude comments but to be fair , the truth can really hurt.
I suppose some kind of sweet poetic justice would be if Arsenal went on to win the Champions league and Man City bombed out!
City sure are building up a good collection of former Arsenal players now. They'll probably be back for more next season.
