So nasri has come out and said "will I play for Manchester united? We have to wait and see if it's concrete" how do people feel about having him at united?
He's a good player, but is there a need for him at the club when we have other problems in the team? Think United need central midfielders that can dictate a game and retain possession comfortably. Prefer his teamate, Fabregas in that resepect - won't happen though.
Nasari can play central midfield, although not his natural position, he would be better that what we have now. I would take him.
Nasari can play central midfield ------------------- True, but he looks very uncomfortable there. Wenger played him there at OT earlier in the season, and he had a terrible game. Soon as Wenger reverted him back to the wing, he looked more dangerous. I hope this doesn't mean we sell Nani.
"Do I want to go to Man United? First, we should see if it's real and if it is concrete," added Nasri." Looks like he wants to come to United and actually win something. I think Fergie should put a bid for him, as I belive he is a quality player. And is also belive he is better on the left compared to Nani.
Had a good first half of the season but faded after christmas; not really performed in the rest of his time in england just little glimses of talent. Good when he's on it but not on it enough
Well all the Arsenal team faded in the 2nd half of the season, it dosen't mean players like Fabregas are not good. Most of of the good performances i seen was when he was playing CM, he faded when he got shiften back out wide. Even if he does fades, we have enough cover, so it won't be a worry,
Im not sayin that he isnt good based on a bad end of the season or for that matter Fabregas or arsenals other players arent good; all i was saying is that the 1st half of the season is the only real time he's shown his class; which is dissapointing for a player thats now had two or three seasons in the league. And saying we can cover if he fades is stupid the point of paying 15+ million for a player is that they are consistently good. Anyway im not saying i wouldnt take the risk, i would consider it as long as he's a reasonable price and hes not the only midfielder we go for
I think if Nasri wants to come, he would come very cheap, afterall his contract expires next season, where if we wait till then, he would come on a free. I think if we do get Nasri, signing 1 more cm would be enough.
It won't happen, Arsenal won't sell him to us and they would then advertise him to any team for much less than we would offer. They don't care about the money in this situation.
He should come out now and say either i want to go or i want to stay; its annoying how he's worded his reply to interest from Utd. Buy saying lets wait to see if the interest is real hes protected himself from hatred from the arsenal fans as he's not definetly said he'd be willing to go to utd he's just kind of implied it
If SAF wants to sign him, we have a good chance of getting him. SAF puts a bid in, Nasri finds out and halts contract discussions and holds Arsenal to ransom. They won't want to lose £15million plus on him, so they'd have to sell.
I think around 10-15 million will be able to get him, if it is this price, its quite a bargin considering other transfers Carroll 35m lol
I don't want him at United. I think he is incredibly overrated. I felt the same way about Rosicky and I felt the same way about Hleb. These guys are overrated because they play for the London media darlings that are Arsenal but watch Nasri play regularly and you will see that he is a fair weather player who would not add anything to United. Bookmark this thread and get back to me in 2 year's time when he is playing for Toulouse!
Rosicky was very good but then he got injured for a year and has been useless ever since. I have a soft spot for Hleb but he was never that good. Nasri though is a good player, he carried us in the first part of the season if I remember right.
