Surprised that there is no thread about the attitude Nando gave when subbed.. I was one of the many who stood by him all throughout his horrible days with us.. after a dismal performance if you are replaced, accept it and support the team.. Walking away is not just insult to Manager, but to fans, club and the game itself.. Enough is enough!!
He was terrible for you lot today, and that's not just me being biased, was getting worked up all game and throwing himself to the floor constantly, touched the ball about 15 times.
Your opinion is fair OP, but didn't you also demand that Drogba leaves us before he won us the FA Cup and Champions League last season? Well one of your wishes came true, but if we were to give Torres away, who do you suggest we replace him with? Falcao and Cavani are two possible options, but we would be breaking the bank for either of them. Falcao would cost us an absolute minimum of £50m, but more likely £60m+.
I always liked Drog as a player but hated his divisive attitude last few seasons.. We were all behind Nando through his misery and all of a sudden where did he catch that sort of attitude? wrt replacements.. we don't have to break bank.. I honestly don't want Cavani or Falcao.. We may have to pay over the odds and that adds unwanted pressure on those individuals as well (cue Nando).. that is no good!! Let's give studge or even Lukaku a run-in.. With the midfield talent we have I don't mind them playing at all up front.. In all fairness those kids could be a hell lot better than what Nando has done for us in the last 18+ months..
that was my belief through out the past 18 months.. but you cannot condone his attitude today.. If Nando doesn't perform in the next 3 months.. he will never produce for us...
He was pissed off and he went to cool down before he put a fist through someones face. That QPR defender was allowed to molest him all games by the idiot ref. I suggest all those asking for his banishment etc etc, either grow a pair or get a tampon for their vagina !
I thought he was terrible for you today. As someone said above, he spent most of the game on the floor, looking aggrieved and unable to cope with a man's game, or in the ref's face trying to do his job for him. Poor attitude. I'm sure he'll have better games for you, but I'd be extremely upset with any player who put in a shift like that in a QPR shirt. Good game though, enjoyed it.
Blue I was quite impressed with Victor when he came on though, felt he should have replaced Ramires early in the second half as the lad was having a mare.
Ramires did more in the 10 mins he moved inside than he's done all season. Why RDM can't see that he needs to play there beats me.
We have a lot of new faces this season, and Robbie's learning every game what his ideal formations are! I'm sure when he looks back at this, certain changes will inevitably be made!
We do blue but when you start playing one of last seasons best players out of position you have to start and wonder. I know we haven't got too many options for wide right with Marin injured and Moses only signed late on but Ramires is just too good to be lost out there. Anyway,Marin is playing again and Moses made his debut so here's hoping
You might get Falcao 10 million or so cheaper if you give them torres? It's his home town club isn't it?
Tbh my Torres patience has worn very thin - what is that now 9 goals in 51 Prem' matches? And 3 of those were in one match vs QPR. No getting away from it that is a frigging abysmal performance from a very expensive striker. At the end of the day if you play in that position and cost that much money as well as earning a small fortune each week then his performance can only be described as *iss poor. Look at it this way: if he cost that much and played for Spuds and performed like that then we'd all be taking the *iss wouldn't we?
