Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Malay: Perbadanan Pembangunan Perdagangan Luar Malaysia; officially abbreviated as MATRADE) is a Malaysian external trade government agency. Its key role is to assist Malaysian exporters to develop and expand their export markets. The agency was established under the MATRADE Act 1992 in March 1993 as a statutory agency and external trade promotion arm under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI).[1][2]

MATRADE is also the owner and operator of the MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) which was opened in January 2007.[3] Tan Sri Dr. Halim Mohammad served as the 7th Chairman of MATRADE from 2004 to 2010 and effective 1 January 2019.[4] Reezal Merican Naina Merican has served as the 9th Chairman of MATRADE since May 2023.[5]

Fans on social media have been losing their **** over this, like there isn't greater things for us to be concerned about. If it helps the finances they can rename the stadium 'The Pound Shop Loftus Road Theatre of ****e' for all I care.
****wits. As if anyone’s going to call it the Matrade Loftus Road Stadium anyway.

Haven't the twittersphere worked out we need the money... We should have done it years ago.

But we very charitably allowed the Kiyan Prince Foundation have the rights...and gave them promotion for a couple of years...what a nice thing for the club to do.

No real idea, but it may just help us avoid FFP fine...or it may just allow us to sack Ainsworth...which is also what the twittersphere want.

Just get real...who cares what it is called. To the people who matter...it is and will always be Loftus Road

With you Beth. Sign of the times now. Take the money where it comes. Market Jude the Cat if it brings in the cash needed.
What does it matter. We all know where our spiritual home is.

Couldn’t give a monkeys.it’s only sports reporters who have to give the full name. We need the income to counter financial unfair play

Pretty much agree, although I'd always want "Loftus Road" included in the name.
This latest deal makes good sense as far as I can tell.

I wonder if they put it out to bids or just did a quick deal. Matrade doesn’t sound like a particularly large corporation. What about selling the roof space for advertising - we’re on the Heathrow flight path.
