No I'm not sure what the title means either but with a week to go until that window opens I see a few more names hit the gossip pages today.

Of course its to be expected and surprise, surprise the usual suspects appear again, I expect N'Zog any time soon.

The appointment of O'Neill has truly changed things for me, I sort of care but don't because I trust his judgement and expect him to bring what I'm looking for, success.

I read about his boring style, how he likes an Heskey type of player, will he go for the big exciting name or the workhorse type, I honestly don't care.

Yes, like everyone I would love a City squad, watch fast flowing top class football every week, see us dominate game after game and be going for the title, yes, I wish.

After so many false dawns, so many let downs and disappointments and so many relegation battles or like last year, very fortunate 10th place finishes, I just want us to win more than we lose and to battle every week.

The Blackburn and QPR games were exiting rolla coaster games and I certainly left feeling I had gotten my monies worth but, my old heart cant take to many of those games.

In MON we must simply trust, no good saying good lad Martin then complaining we must be aiming higher if his signings don't inspire, had inspire and they either let me down or piss off. If those uninspiring signings deliver success then that will do for me, most of us wont recognize it anyway, we have never had it.

I know that on Wednesday evening an uninspiring Mr Bendtner inspired me so who knows and if an uninspiring Zamora, Heskey or whoever can knock a ball down so that a Campbell or Sess can score, well that will inspire me.

These middle of the night ramblings must stop I think.

I'm not sure about the title either, but it is a play on one of my favourite comedy films of all time..<ok>
I don't think we will see too much transfer activity this window from SAFC, simply because the players available seem very limited at present.

Should be an interesting few weeks syd and , no doubt we'll be linked with every Villa/Leicester/Celtic player under the sun. Heard the one about Zamora for 8mil and to be honest 8 mil for a non scoring crock of an aged striker is about 8 mil too much in my opinion anyway. As for Heskey can anyone out there on the www give me one just one good reason why MON would even think about that useless lump of non scoring crap.

It's a classic comedy. John Candy was the sort of actor I could laugh at just by looking at him and his laugh was very infectious.

Yes MrRAW it is a lay on that film, no idea why mind.

I dont think cash will come into it Comm, will all be about MON and his thinking and I agree with MrRAW, he will only sell if a offer comes in he thinks to good to turn down or if a player wants out, he will want the season to judge.

Cpming in, IMO, will depend on what he thinks of Sess, bendy, ji and wickham and when campbell will be back. He will buy but will it be a fill in or top man, will depend on who is available and those thoughts.

In 3 games he is changing my thoughts and I'm sure his.

I really think he will see Bendtner as a challenge and really look to get him firing. With Wickham being of a similar stature he will look to bring him in gradually, providing support in that role. He also seems pretty taken by Sess, and hopefully Campbell is knocking on the door as we move into the new year. I am not actually certain he will be looking for a striker. Personally I would like to see one more come in, especially with Bendtner only being on loan and Campbell's return being heavy reliant on him remaining healthy.
