Just to reassure you all this thread is being done with the knowledge of shiny but there is no rush.. Now the decision has been made we need to choose a replacement individual to step up, it's up to you the members to decide who we will nominate. If any of you have a person in mind you'd like to nominate please put their name forward so we can put it up, if you wish to have a go yourself you can either put yourself forward or you can pm me and I'll do the rest. Once we have enough interest or names we then put up a poll with all the named ones included and you, the members decide by voting a majority who we nominate, if the chosen one decides he will take up the task we will forward his name to the supermod, if not we work our way back down the list. The supermods will then action our request.. Please list your nominations ( 1 each) down below, I will leave it up until interest stops and create the poll, say up to Thursday, 12th December, 7.00 pm.. good luck to whoever gets the job. i say that not in a sarcastic way by the way. shinys shoes will be hard to fill as he has created a lot of traffic onto this site due to his hard work on twitter amongst other things he has done. he, along with wiz and angelic has done a great job in building your board to make it 1 of the biggest supported boards on this site. hopefully whoever comes in to replace shiny can continue where he left off. all the best to whoever gets the job and good luck to those who steps up and nominate themselves
Can I just add we would expect a mod to have been a member for a couple of years at least & be a regular poster with a good reputation The super mods usually respect & promote the candidate put forward by the club fans but we do check out IP address etc & occasionally have turned candidates down where we see other agendas coming into play. I think we should bring in gas as mod, with his racist, pot bellied mates from general chat taking over this forum
Banksy fits the bill for me. He's able(usually)to express his thoughts clearly when pressed and can be very disarming with his brand of humour. Should he accept the position of mod I'd hope,as a mod, he'd be more equitable on such issues as Ian Holloway.
