On the money or clueless? Stick me down as clueless but I'll go .......

    A) 55% YES to Hull Tigers/Allam family
    B) 35% NO to Hull Tigers
    C) 10% Couldn't give a monkey's toss

Over to you 'experts'. We know/think the FA will vote no anyway but if things don't go your way lets move on, that's life ......

As it's no versus Yes, whatever and didn't vote, it's most likely to be a "not no" result.

    Meaningless pap anyway.

Hopefully apathy will rule over the YES brigade.

I reckon the reality is about 85% NO but what the Allams will report, may well be very different.

Unfortunately I think it will be 35% no - no Hull Tigers, 30% yes, but those that don't care or don't vote at all will be lumped together by the Allams as for the name change. However I am sure the FA will see through it all.

You might be right. When fear and intimidation rule people don't necessarily vote for what they really want. Shamefully stolen off the Amber Nectar site but probably illustrative of what will be happening with the weaker, easily intimated members of the City supporting population.

"An old guy at work today highlighted the dangers of this decrepit ballot.
"Got my vote in, in the end" he says. "I don't agree with it, but you've got to keep him happy, haven't you? So I voted yes."
He's not the sharpest tool in the box but he's a nice guy who's been going to City for a long time.
He should never have been put in this position and it stinks."

None of us (YES and NO Voters) alike should have been put in this situation and it does stink. How anyone can ready anything into the outcome of this ballot is mind-boggling.

Of course the 'Yes' vote will win. But due to loaded questions and essentially blackmailing and bullying the fans into believing that if they vote against them they are against the club as a whole.

What Allam wants, Allam gets. Look at his CV, for comfort.

If it is a yes and AA appeals to the Fa, goes to court but anyway gets his own way. Who's going to market the whole thing because I don't think the club is capable of it at the min judging by how they've alienated all the fans with this whole debacle and the fact they don't seem to do anything to get new fans locally?

Absolutely NO-ONE is pro name change. I honestly do not think there is anyone who would actually prefer Hull Tigers to Hull City. There are probably a few who are genuinely not bothered either way. And then quite a few more who would vote Yes for Hull Tigers due to fear of reprisals and blackmail from the owners, (but in reality aren't bothered or actually don't want it). But I do think the overwhelming majority are at least privately anti-name change.

My Dad bought his season ticket in June but then, as I've mentioned, he sadly passed away as the season started. His registered email address is no longer valid but we'd never had a reason to amend it. So I cannot actually vote on his behalf now - so I presume his vote defaults to a 'not bothered'? Which is ridiculous if true.

A yes vote is the best we can hope for in this situation.

The Allams will get to save face, will remain at the club and continue to invest

The CTWD crowd will get what they want-to keep the name as Hull City-since the FA will not grant the Allams wish to change the name to Hull Tigers regardless of the poll.

The rest of us can continue on with reading just about football on this forum and other media outlets and get on with our lives.

Everybody will be happy, assuming we have enough left in the old Tiger Tank to get over the finish line this season with sufficient points to stay up.

As long as it's not used as the basis for a pointless, unwinable legal action against the FA.
