Apparently an £8m fee has been agreed in principle. Probably a good price for a 29-year-old, especially as it's more than you paid for him. Very useful player, though. Works hard, doesn't seem to moan when he's not starting and he scores goals. How would Everton fans feel about this one if it goes through? Might depend on anyone coming in to replace him, I'd have thought. Any rumours on that front?
He's a good pro and a great bloke, but he wants to play and his opportunities are currently very limited at Goodison. He'll do a good job for Norwich as he always gives everything and he's got a knack of finding space in the box and scores goals. £8m is a great price given we got him on a free after Rangers went bust. Good luck to him. As for a replacement I doubt our prime target is available this window - Yarmolenko.
It's a shame to lose a player like Naismith. He has the back of finding space, has great link up play and will win most ariel battles. He is also a top bloke off the pitch and is a credit to himself/his family. Yarmalenko isn't coming to us in a million years IMO
Spend the money on Byram (Leeds) and Dembele (Fulham) and a keeper. If any left another striker, who that could be?
Byram only has 18 months left to go. I'm sure there will be more money if needed, especially with new owners looking to make a statement
