If he costs £500,000 then I'd most definitely grab him. He's worth a punt and ran circles around Villa's defence in the Cup. I'd rather we go for a hitman type player though. I reckon we'll go for that John Guidetti from Manchester City on loan and/or Nick Powell from Manchester United.
I think he is out of contract in the summer, so we would probably get him for free and on low wages! So maybe worth the risk
Invariably buying a 4th division player when in the PL/Championship doesn't work, however good they look. Let some other team take a punt and if he travels up the league, buy him then at a higher price. Better value.
