Liked the guy, never very prolific goalscorer but consistent and always an asset on field. I wish him all the luck.

Sad to see him go, wish him luck. We are going to need a couple of decent striker signings now.

Loved the waste of wage that some called him. Going to hard to replace imo

IMG_5876.jpeg Great influence in the dressing room and a role model for the younger players too.
Thanks for the memories Nahki and good luck <cheers>

Did us proud last year-however only played because we purchased two donkeys.
If we are to progress his wages can be spent on far better as long as city get it right.

yep the first three years was highest paid player and was not worth those wages for what he produced on the pitch. <cool>

I read somewhere that we could be looking at 3 new forwards for next season and they are Mayulu, Armstrong and Cornick. I don't think any of them played much, if any, football during the last campaign and it looks like they could be the bright future that we have all been waiting to arrive. With that kind of special talent lolling around BS3 how come we aren't playing in Europe and winning major trophies? Please tell me that our intentions are higher than what all three of those mentioned managed together, but at least Twine's name wasn't on that list. With my magic crystal ball I see a huge breakdown in communications around January when Gerhart will be told that there are no monies for new players, rather like Liam who then left for a way better prospect. Good luck Liam and Gerhart in your individual futures.

He’s done pretty well for us over the last 5 years. I think the timing is right for him to leave now though. You could see in the last month or two of last season that time had caught up with him.

Must admit I wasn’t a fan initially, i was disappointed with his goal return and what appeared to be his attitude, I later understood he just disliked being taken off, I learned to like this about him, rather than petulance it was frustration, he wanted to be involved, he’s a winner.

His attitude was second to none, when he was having the lean spell and was played in the U 21’s, rather than sulk he got his head down, he built a relationship with Conway that saw them both brought into the first team,

Last season he was immense, without him I dread to think where we’d have ended up after BT’s royal F up with Fally and Sincs, BT certainly owes him big time, he saved his bacon.

He certainly changed my opinion of him during his stay, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Great professional and by all accounts a very nice man to boot. Apparently lots of his team mates, and ex team mates have been wishing him well since the news of his departure has become known.

All the best for your future Nahki
