The old problem seems to have returned! Lots of people, including myself, are having real issues trying to post sensible replies because the site's software keeps double-posting. Typically, I'll hit the POST button after writing my comment and a box comes up asking me if I really want to leave the page: if I say no and hit POST again it double-posts, but if I say yes, sometimes it doesn't post my comment. Is that hacker back? I hope there isn't a nasty virus going round! By the way, when replying to this thread, don't be afraid of double-posting, as it'll serve to highlight just how bad the problem is.
Yes, there seems to be something not quite right. I ended up repeating myself on the Mouser Watch thread. Probably just as well as they're not very quick on the uptake, anyway.
Press "stay on page" and then press the "Tottenham Hotspur" link at the top to take you back to our forum and you'll see it's posted. I know this is an old problem but I think it's to do with the site admin having to return to a previous version of the board where this bug wasn't fixed. Unfortunately updating the site can have these affects sometimes but there's no security issue with it. It will be fixed at somepoint but the admin has a day job so it will take him awhile, although hopefully less time than it took him to change our banner In the meantime we'll delete the double posts when we see them to keep the board tidy and I wouldn't worry if you do double post it takes a second to fix and makes us feel useful
There's definitely something wrong here. There are two additional postings on the Arsenal thread that will not download on my iPad. My own last post is the last one I can read.
This site has gone to ****. The infuriating thing is that nobody knows what's going on, as the owner is not here to explain or attempt to fix the problems.
The site is developing sentience and attempting to mimic our behaviour. Unfortunately it's paid far too much attention to the back and forth between Piskie and HIAG, so now it just endlessly repeats the same bollocks.
