Over and over again we have been linked with zog, and every time iv'e shot him down, as being a one trick pony, and adamant that he would be no good for safc. Well yesterday i made a good call and chose wigan v w.ham as my choice to watch live. **** what a game, a real belter. Hammers got relegated.... thank god. But insomnia, what can i say, a real screamer of a free kick, then popped up at the end to score the winner. Maybe i judge the lad harshly, but i take my hat off to him for that performance, and can see why many off you would like him at the sol. But can he play like that regulary, as often iv;e seen him and he's been rubbish... Only concern would be where would sess play...
...................catts..............meyler......................... henderson...........sessegnon................nzogbia......... ...............................gyan.........................................
on the bench pushing cattermole for his place, catts injuries and suspensions should still see young jack getting 15-20 starts next season nt too bad and won't burn him out ala henderson
that was just an example of how to fit sessegnon in the team (4.2.3.1). I'm a stubborn 442 man myself but gyan is a hard man to pair up in my eyes. he's not a 20 goal a season man so playing him with a target man or a doyle and your looking at 20-25 goals between them and since our midfield don't score that ain't good enough
Sessegnon & Colback were by far and away our best players on Saturday and with Colback's inpressive performances lately he deserves a crack at the first team for the start of next season, he can pass, shoot (Except that one on Saturday!) and put some well timed tackles in and is showing signs he will be ahead of Cattermole in years to come. N'zogbia gets a lot of stick for lack of effort etc, but Wigan have been in the dogfight for months now and he has pretty much kept them alive single handedly so maybe people should start giving the lad a bit more credit, however he will move onto bigger and better things next season other than Sunderland or Wigan.
