On behalf of the Northern Ireland Saints group I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who has got behind our team this season. Enjoy every minute of this because we the fans have earned it as much as anybody for getting to the games, supporting the team through relegations and disappointment and for having the belief. The team were outstanding yesterday in every department albeit against a very weak opposition. Fonte was MOTM for me with Guly not far behind. Two players who have been subject to a lot of criticism lately showed up when it really mattered. There was a lot of pressure on us to perform yesterday and we've been awful in televised matches all season bar Leeds at home which was in August. "WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON, WE'RE **** ON TV"...etc etc Seriously, fair play to everyone who was able to get to a game this season from Northern Ireland. One lad from our group went to four matches in total (Leicester away, Middlesborough at home, Watford away and Coventry at home yesterday) which is a great effort worth noting. Another lad went to two games in a week (Cardiff away, Watford at home)! Everybody who supported the team can take credit from their success, so well done everyone. Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life and it dissolved all the hurt from past seasons, a lot more than League One promotion did that's for sure! I remember Alan Pardew said in an interview "...so we can get back into the Championship where we belong"...The Premiership is where we belong and now we're finally back again. Next season is going to fantastic for us, I really feel as though we can compete and have realistic mid-table aspirations...but the sky is the limit! I'll be arranging a trip early next season but where and when all depends on the fixtures that are released and also the date and venue that suits the majority.
